Gastroenteritis (chronic)

Gastroenteritis is an inflammatory disease of the stomach and small intestines. During the disease cellular synthesis of enzymes, which affect the digestion is altered, thus leading to disorders of the metabolic processes. Painful episodes and other symptoms including frequent defecation, overall fatigue, cold sweat in chronic gastroenteritis may be caused by consumption of even by completely healthy foods, taken not on the regimen.

Chronic gastroenteritis is a long-term disease and should be treated consecutively. The factors which affect the disease appearance include:

  • Excessive consumption of spicy foods, eating without a regimen
  • Alcohol abuse
  • Professional toxins
  • Radiation
  • Allergy to different kinds of foods
  • Parasitic invasions of the gastrointestinal tract
